Testing the comments section

Can you please do me a favour and let me know if the comment button even shows up under my blog entries? If you see it, can you please put a comment in? It doesn’t need to be big. A word or two will suffice, to let me know if it’s working. If the comment box is gone, I need to figure out how to fix that.

If you can’t find a comment box, but you know another way to contact me, please do so that way.

I know my writing is bad, but geeze, is it THAT bad that nobody comments at all, not even to complain? 😀

  1. Your writing isn’t bad at all. I think it’s just that most of your followers can’t relate to what you write about. You know, once, my blog was like an online diary. That time, I had an engagement lower than a snail’s self esteem. But when I started writing about things that people are interested in, things that appeals to them, things changed.

    • Thanks for commenting, Obinna. I guess my blog is more of an online diary of sorts. I write when I fee like it, about whatever is on my mind, and I don’t have a specific niche. Maybe that will change someday, but for now, getting enjoyment out of writing is more fun for me than getting to engage with others, though the latter is a nice treat, too. 🙂

    • Since I read and replied above, Obinna, I’ve had your message in my mind while I was running around doing errands in the house. It led to the idea that I will create a new blog, a separate one for a more specific niche, but I will retain this one for adding general posts. I do have a few things on which I can focus. I’ll see where it goes. Thank you for the food for thought!

  2. The fact that you’re enjoying the topics you write about is all that matters. No matter how good or engaging a topic is, if you don’t like it or aren’t familiar with it, I don’t think it’s wise to blog about it.
So as long as you’re getting enjoying from blogging, I say keep it up!
